Draymond Green shares his "big concerns" about the new All-Star game format that could cost millions of players

The NBA commissioner has announced a new All-Star Game format, but has since become a major topic of discussion.

Adam Silver has announced that next year’s headline event at the All-Star Game in Los Angeles will be between the US and the team world.

This means fans will have the opportunity to see Stephen Curry, LeBron James and Anthony Edwards oppose MVPs Shay Gilgauss Alexander, Nicola Jokic and Giannis Antetocomo.

Stephen A. Smith shared his feelings in a new format and the way it was his last chance to save the All-Star Game.

While this is a source of excitement for many fans, Draymond Green has raised some important points about the possibility of costing millions of players.

A standard NBA deal comes with bonuses related to All-Star and All-NBA selections.

The four-time All-Star Green had previously criticised the All-Star game format used this year.

Kendrick Perkins blows up the green for his comments because the players believed the change was the reason for the change.

However, he also reserved the newly introduced format, due to how it affects vote changes, which cost players millions.

While discussing the newly introduced headline game, Baron Davis said:

“Yes, that’s what I think is the biggest concern. It certainly changes the vote,” Greene said in Davis’ statement.

The All-Star Game is losing its appeal as players do not perform at normal levels during the event.

Despite some attempts by the league, the game has not yet attracted attention, which is why it switched to the US vs. world format.

“I think competing at the world vs. America level would create something, though I don’t know if they have the same pride as they are not necessarily Canada or Serbia.

While green bookings are valid and can cost millions of players, it’s important to have something in place to increase your competitiveness, as the NBA is one of the most anticipated days for many.

Watching their favourite stars play together is a sight everyone would like to see, but in recent years the level of competition in the All-Star Game has significantly reduced.

The new format brings a level of competition as American players try to do their best to win the game for national pride.

Players like Jokic, Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic and Gilgeous-Alexander have proven they could become league stars, and it would be fun to see them compete with Team USA’s stacked lineup.
