The Los Angeles defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 in the National League Division Series on Monday for an overwhelming 2-0 lead.

Blake Snell shut out six innings, and the ‘ offensive explosion with four points in the seventh inning, with Los Angeles just one game left to go before their NLDS victory against the top seeded Phillies. Games 3 and 4 (if necessary) will be held at Stadium.

The and Phillies played pitcher games at Citizens Bank Park Monday night.
Blake Snell and Jess Luzard continued their scoreless innings with only two hits for both teams up until the first six innings.
Snell was in trouble in the bottom of the sixth inning, giving the Phillies two walks and 2 on and one out. However, he struck out Bryce Harper and grounded Alec Baum to give the final touches to the dominant six innings.
Miguel Rojas chose to aim for third base instead of throwing the ball to first base, and closed the situation with a grounder out.
He appears to have been injured while playing, and was a pinch hitter in his next at-bat. However, if a right-handed relief pitcher was on the mound and ‘ silver bullet Max Muncy was ready to put in, he would have been a pinch hitter anyway.
Luzard shut out the in six innings, but was hit with trouble in the top of the seventh inning.
Theoscar Hernandez, who has been a succession of big hits in the ‘ postseason career, hit a leadoff single. Freddie Freeman then hit a double, and LA suddenly got two runners in scoring position with no outs.

The Phillies brought in right-handed relief pitcher Orion Kirkeling and struck out Tommy Edman. After that, Kique Hernandez broke the bat with an infield dribbler, and Theoscar Hernandez sprinted to the home run, then defeated the tag team to give Los Angeles the first goal.
Muncie then pulled out a walk as a pinch hitter and trained Andy Pages, who ran out. With the bases loaded with two outs and the bases loaded, Will Smith, who was on the bench again, hit a two-run home run, extending the ‘ lead to 3-0, taking the lead in the game.
Next batter, Shohei Ohtani, hit his own timely, leading to LA 4-0 and a big boo at Citizens Bank Park.
Emmett Sheehan rescued Snell in the seventh inning, recovering from a tough wildcard match in a 1-2-3-depth inning. He returned in the eighth inning, but was in a pinch and allowed a triple and RBI to make it 4-1.
However, Sheehan remained in the match to face Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper, withdrew from both, and LA fell to ninth place with a 4-1 lead.
The scored two points in the top of the ninth inning, but Otani Shohei struck out. Blake Trainen then pitched in the bottom of the ninth inning, and was quickly in a pinch.
The Phillies cut the lead to one point with three consecutive hits, and the tried to save the game by hitting Alex Bessia.
The Phillies tried to bunt the runner to third base, but Max Muncie defended it and dumped it to Mookie Betts, who was on the verge of third base, leading the runner with an incredible play.
The Phillies then hit more, but on a groundout, they placed a runner in the corner and got two outs. Dave Roberts went back to the bullpen again and brought Sasaki Roki to get his final out.
Sasaki did exactly that, grounding Turner out to give the a 2-0 lead in the NLDS.
