Manchester United are one of the clubs keeping an eye on Real Madrid striker Endrik, who is expected to leave the club on loan in January this year.
As first reported here by Daily Briefing, the talented young Brazilian striker is not valued at the Bernabéu, with around eight clubs considering him as a transfer target.
Man United are thought to be one of the teams interested in Endrick, along with other teams in the Premier League and Europe.
As a paid subscriber to the Daily Briefing, you can find out more about the clubs that are eyeing Endrik and how likely he is to leave Madrid this winter.
Will Endrick be a good signing for Manchester United?
Endrik has barely played for Real Madrid since joining, but was seen as a promising player during his time at former club Palmeiras.
The 19-year-old has inevitably faced a lot of competition up front for Xabi Alonso’s side, so his move to a big club like Madrid may have come too soon.
Even if Endrik remains a top-class talent, everyone will struggle to compete with the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes up front.
However, United don’t have much attacking quality, so it might be a good idea to bring in Endrick for a spell.
Endrik needs to choose his next club carefully
Still, it may be wise for Endrick to take his time rather than rush into a move like United.
Many will argue that the decision to move to the Spanish capital now looks like the wrong choice and that MUFC will be another problematic transfer destination.
A number of players have regressed at Old Trafford recently and improved after leaving, so Endrick needs to take that into account.
His next move will be crucial if he is to get his career back on track, but it’s hard to imagine United going that far for him.
