Liverpool is reportedly keen to sign Monaco attacker Ellis Ben Segill at the end of the season, and they will face competition with Manchester City.
The two Premier League clubs are monitoring the development of a 20-year-old attacker and are inquiring with players. According to a report by L’Equipe, the player is valued at 30 million euros.
Liverpool and Manchester City certainly have more financial muscles than they’re deals. It remains to be seen whether they will follow up on their investigation with official offers to sign players.
Eliesse Ben Seghir will be a solid addition
He could prove to be a quality long-term acquisition for both clubs. Manchester City and Liverpool need more goals and creativity on the side, and the 20-year-old winger could be the ideal acquisition. He has contributed 13 goals this season.
Ben Segill is of course the winger on the left, but he is versatile enough to operate on either side. The two clubs were able to care for him as a future star. The opportunity to participate in Liverpool and Manchester City is also extremely exciting for young people. They regularly fight for major trophies, and are at their disposal by quality managers. They were able to help him fulfill his ambitions.
Liverpool is considering multiple offensive options this summer.
Meanwhile, players struggle with regular game time this season, but he was impressed with the cameo. The report claims he is unhappy with the lack of games and will be interesting to see if the two Premier League clubs can convince them to leave this summer with first team guarantees.
He has the technical attributes to do well in English football and was able to develop into a reliable Premier League attacker with proper guidance. It would be interesting to see where he ends up going.
