India is focusing on veteran Australian batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and is awaiting the return of Rishabh Pant in Tests and Hardik Pandya in limited-overs cricket. Hardik was ruled out ahead of the Asia Cup final against Pakistan due to a quadriceps injury.
The BCCI Medical Bulletin has finally revealed Hardik’s expected return date. Meanwhile, India will have to continue their tour of Australia with Nitish Kumar Reddy. The all-rounder has already replaced Pandya in the ODI XI and is likely to return in the T20Is as well.
