James was praised by the Chicago Bulls Guard for his team’s 146-115 victory over the Larkers.
With LeBron James and Louis Hachimura back, Purple and Gold had the full lineup, but the bull was way too good to stop at night.
Rookie Matias Buzelis scored a career-high 31 points in 66.7% shooting from the field, while Josh Giddey once again delivered a special performance with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 17 assists and 4x doubles on 8 steel.
The Lakers were playing in the game until halftime, but they only followed the Bulls three points, but a late 81-point performance by Billy Donovan’s men helped them secure a dominant victory on the road.
It was a perfect team performance by the Chicago Bulls, with all the starters scoring double-digit points, but it was Bulls guard Coby White who caught the attention of Lakers legend James Worthy.
White held the show at the Crypto.com Arena by scoring 36 points on 70.6% shooting from the field.
He drained six of his nine three-point attempts, wreaking havoc in the Lakers’ defense.
Speaking about White in his postgame analysis of Access SportsNet, Worthy said:
“He was also the leader of this team and was impressed by Coby’s game.”
He has performed for the Bulls in the last 10 games, averaging 28.4 points on 48.3% shooting from the field, making White guaranteed praise.
Sine Zach Lavine and Demar Derozan left the bull. White was a major player for the Bulls.
Lonzo Ball was in and out of the team, but that didn’t affect White because he’s consistently playing well.
White averages 19.8 ppg, which is his best career, shooting 44% of the ball from the field.
He’s taken more shots than ever before, and has proven to the league that he could become an All-Star caliber player.
The bulls are currently ninth in the East, and they certainly look like the side to fall into play-in competition.
With White and Giddy, the Bulls have an exciting backcourt, but are not expected to cause any fuss in the playoffs, but they can get a strong return next year with experience being in the postseason.
