Machi Fukuda (Fukuda Machi) exhibited her skill set at Rizin 50, defeating South Korea’s SEO Young Park (박서영) via the second round of TKO on the ground and pillars. The match took place on March 30, 2025 at Anabuki Arena in Kawakawa, Japan, and more than a year later Fukuda’s victory returned to Lysin.

The fight began with both fighters trading strikes in the first round, where they were evenly contested. Known for her judo background, Tomita Machida chose to test her impressive abilities towards the park and showed her willingness to try out the new areas of MMA. Despite the intensely competitive exchange, Machi Fukuda admitted that she felt that her impressive fluidity was lacking after the war and expressed her desire to further improve her remote management.

In the second round, Fukuda returned to her roots and used her judo expertise to secure a decisive takedown. Once on the ground, Machi unleashed a barrage of knees, punches and elbows that overwhelm the park. The referee intervened at 4:04 of the round to stop the fight and awarded Machi the TKO victory.

The victory is a key milestone for Machie, who is facing ups and downs in her career. The 21-year-old fighter made his professional debut under Deep Jewels in November 2022, setting a 6-2 record afterwards. Her previous appearance of Lysine in October 2023 claimed the victory of the battle’s split decision against shooting female super atomweight champion Watanabe Ayaka.

For SEO Young Park, the match marked his debut on the Lysine stage following an impressive run at Shooto’s Infinity League tournament in 2024.

After the war, Fukuda expressed his gratitude for his victory, but he recognized the territory for improvement. She also expresses her desire for the Lysin Championship Belt and hopes to appear more frequently in promotions. Her vision heads towards stronger enemies to continue to prove herself as one of the rising elevations of the Japanese MMA star.
