Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen has linked his move away from the club at the end of the season.
Former Danish International Brian Loudrap urged the 24-year-old goalkeeper to leave Leicester City at the end of the season. They are relegated to the championship, and Loudlap believes Hermansen is too good for the championship.
Speaking to Viaplay, he said:
“I don’t think that over a year in the championship will help him develop or he will have the opportunity to play for the Danish national team. I hope he will leave Leicester this summer.”
There is no doubt that the 24-year-old is very impressive for the fox this season. It will be interesting to see if the club will come for him in the summer.
He would want to compete at a high level, and playing in the Premier League would be ideal for him.
Leicester must maintain Mads Hermansen
Meanwhile, Leicester hopes to bounce back hard next season. They will need to hold onto their main players to return to the top flight again. It will be interesting to see if he can convince the 24-year-old goalkeeper to stay with the club beyond this season.
There’s no doubt he has the quality to play for a bigger club in the Premier League. It is likely that multiple Premier League clubs are considering goalkeepers in the summer, and it is unlikely that there will be a shortage of Danish goalkeepers.
It is still unclear how things will unfold in the coming weeks.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper is already operating at a high level and only improves with coaching and experience. Playing for a big club will help him accelerate his development and help him realize his potential.
