Ryan Gravenburch played a major role in Liverpool’s run to the Premier League title last season. This was revamped with the new role of Arne Slot, despite not dissenting the quality of players such as Alexis Mac Alistair, Dominique Zoboschlei, Florian Wiltz and Curtis Jones.
The 23-year-old starred in the Merseyside Derby last week, earning an incredible opener, supporting what Hugo Ekitique became the winner. He has grown into a highly versatile midfielder, mostly taking on the role of a metronome in the middle of the park, but is fully capable and rushed into the opposition box to cause mayhem.
Gravenberch has signed the same five-year contract as the five-year contract he signed when he arrived from Bayern Munich in 2023, and at this point his future is safe. However, according to Talksport, the club’s hierarchy feels that his continued contributions should be rewarded with new, more favorable terms.
