Arsenal has been linked to the moves of Valencia defender Christian Mosquera in recent weeks.
The gunners turned down the offer for the 21-year-old defender, and they are now ready to go back with an improved offer. According to a report by Super Deporte, Arsenal initially offered 15 million euros to the talented young defender, but is now ready to return with an offer of around 2,000-25 million euros.
It will be interesting to see if the Spanish outfit is ready for sanctions. They appreciate him and they want to link him to a new deal. It remains to be seen whether the defender is willing to be willing to commit his long-term future to the Spanish club.
Christian Mosquera can be seduced
The opportunity to attend Arsenal can be extremely exciting for the young defender. They are one of the largest clubs in the world and they consistently compete for major trophies. They were able to provide him with a platform to compete at the highest level. He had the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League and was able to develop into a key player for Arsenal.
However, defenders must seek guarantees of the game before joining a big club. Sitting on the Arsenal bench doesn’t benefit him. He must play regularly at this stage of his career, and Arsenal must provide him with a clear plan for his development.
A deal may look like a bargain of the future
If they can close the transaction at a fee of around 25 million euros, it could prove to be a great investment for Arsenal. Players have the ability to justify future investments, and this move may seem like a big bargain. He is said to be a player with “excellent technical qualities” and he is powerful in the air.
If Arsenal wants to do well in multiple competitions, it would be a wise decision to sign a talented young player like Mosquera, as they would need more depth and quality on the side.
