Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are passionate about Ebebeki Eze, the playmaker at Crystal Palace.
According to a report by Fitchase, Manchester United and Tottenham are leading the race for British playmakers and will have to pay £60 million to get the deal done.
The report adds that Manchester United shows strong interest in signing the offensive midfielder, who has contributed 15 goals this season. Similarly, Tottenham is closely monitoring his situation, and Crystal Palace could be open to selling players at a reasonable price.
The 26-year-old has established himself as a quality Premier League performer, and he is enough to play for the largest club in the country.
Manchester United relies too much on Bruno Fernandez for goals and creativity from the middle of the park. They need more depth in that area of the pitch, and Eze becomes a quality addition. He can operate in 10 roles and a wide range of fields. He adds his goals, technical capabilities and vision to the final third. He has recently been described as a “great finisher” by Oliver Glasner.
Manchester United will need to transform their attacking forces if they are serious about fighting for major trophies next season. The 26-year-old was able to make a decisive contribution to them.

Tottenham, on the other hand, can use more quality in that area of the pitch. James Madison is completely inconsistent and ideally compete for location. That will help Tottenham improve as a team.
However, the £60 million ask price can complicate the problem for Tottenham. They need to improve multiple areas of the pitch and are known to work on strict budgets.
The player has the quality to improve both clubs, but it is still unclear where he will ultimately go.
