Manchester United is thought to be close to signing their second major transfer target in the summer after Matheus Cunha.
Man UTD targeting more attack signatures after Cunha
Red Devils and Ineos started early in the summer transfer business by securing the services of Matheus Cunha.
Cunha said that the people of Old Trafford signed him from the wolves by triggering a Brazilian £62.5 million release clause and signing Man UTD.
“It’s hard to put into words my feelings about becoming a Manchester United player. Since I was a kid watching Premier League matches on TV at my grandmother’s house in Brazil, United has been my favorite English team and I have dreamed of wearing a red shirt.
“I can’t wait for the start of the preseason to know my teammates and prepare for the upcoming season. My focus is on working hard to become a valuable part of the team and helping this club get back to the top.”
More firepower is on the Old Trafford agenda in the last third, as Cunha could be used by Ruben Amorim in either of the two attack 10th positions behind the striker in the 3-4-2-1 system.

Manchester United appears to be moving towards a new centre forward this summer.
In the Center Forward search, Man Utd links with Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt and Viktor Gyoker from Sporting CP.
Meanwhile, another versatile attacker he’d been hoping for weeks is Brentford star Brian Mbuemo. Despite interest from Spurs and new manager Thomas Frank, Man UTD is the person who has verbally agreed to sign Cameroon International.
In fact, Ineos is preparing a massive salary offer worth £13 million per season to seduce forwards to Manchester, a wage that works at £250,000 a week. Nowadays, new developments have emerged, and many male UTD supporters have created music.
Man Utd is now “very close” to signing MBUEMO
According to a report from Spain, Man Utd is currently “very close” to signing Mbuemo from Brentford.
It is allegedly claimed that “the contact between the player’s aide and Brentford itself has intensified from Manchester,” and that “there is a significant advance in negotiations underway for several weeks.”
Amorim also gave the trade a green light, but the new update does not list the fees. As many know, Man Utd rejected the initial offer for Mbuemo, worth up to £55 million, as bees cherish the stars for over £60 million.
Premier League 24/25 | Mbeumo | Cunya |
---|---|---|

the goal | 20 | 15 |

Perhaps if a transaction is made, it will be around that number and it appears to be transferred in the course that will be completed directly following this latest update.
