Manchester City is set to sign midfielder in the summer, with the likes of Kevin de Bruin and Mateo Kovacic tied to the move. The surviving Premier League champion has already signed FC Porto’s Nico Gonzalez during the winter transfer period, but Freshblood is being sought by head coach Pep Guardiola, even if Rodri Hernandez returns from injury before the start of next season.
One of Guardiola’s most favourite options is Eduardo Camavinga in Real Madrid. The 22-year-old has been struggling with outstanding challenges this season as a prominent European champion. The injury hampered his progress, but even if he was healthy, Carlo Ancelotti preferred to use things like Luca Modric, Aurelien Chuameni and Dani Seboros before him.
This could present a series of opportunities for Mansity, supported by Guardiola’s desire to sign a French midfielder.
Manchester City is watching Eduardo Camabinga’s summer moves
Man City appears to have received good news in pursuit of Kamavinga. Former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown say they are willing to move the Real Madrid star to Etihad Stadium over the summer.
In addition to this, Fichajes reports that Kamabingans are only available £70 million. This is more than an affordable price for Man City, and given his quality, it is also a price that will certainly attract other clubs across Europe.
It will be interesting to see if Man City’s interest in Kamavivanga leads to bids, but given his excellence in Real Madrid is currently at the lowest ever, this summer may be the perfect time to move.
