The Dallas Mavericks gave a sharp impact on former player Luka Donsic’s hands.
For a few weeks, the Dallas Mavericks knew this was coming. Luka Doncic’s return to the American Airlines Center will always be an emotional night.
But from a Mavs point of view, this has gotten worse than you could imagine.
Luka Doncic made Mavs look heartless when she burst into tears after watching the tribute video. How can they break his heart and exchange him?
Mavs fans spent most of the night cheering for Doncic, chanting to fire Nico Harrison, leaving Mark Cuban in his head.
Don Sic then dropped 45 points for the Mavericks in the Lakers’ victory, but Anthony David remained anonymous with just 13 points.

Nico Harrison, general manager of the Dallas Mavericks, is responsible for the team’s decision to trade Luka Donsic.
Former Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was too late to stop trade, so recently detailed his brief conversation with Nico Harrison when he was notified.
NBA insider Mark Stein claims there are several opposition within Harrison’s inner circle, but there’s not enough noise or strength to stop trade.
Speaking on Zack Lowe’s show, Stein insisted:
“This is the craziest trade in NBA history,” he added.
Stein explained that Harrison’s move was so successful last season that Mavericks GM was recognized for effective management of the decision.
He states: “Nico Harrison has accumulated an incredible amount of power and control. Mark Cuban said he is going to control basketball.
“But I never imagined he would be pushed past him to the side that wouldn’t run this.”
Nico Harrison may have started trade, but Mavericks Gov. Patrick Dumont signed it and approved it.
Stein can’t believe that Dumont hasn’t raised an alternative opinion to consult about the move.
He states:
“They didn’t ask Cuba in advance, and he didn’t even ask Dark Nowicki. Get the phone. Get a second opinion from somewhere.”
One reason Dumont didn’t ask for another opinion is that he may have been more involved in the decision than he wanted to admit, and he didn’t want to be told because he knew it was a controversial move.
