Mike Perry says there could be a MMA fight line up and could happen in the coming weeks.
“KSI is out, yeah, Dillon Danis wants to fight MMA,” Perry told Ariel Helwani’s show. “I say yes, but we have to see what MAMS (Taylor) is doing there.
“And he was supposed to be fighting KSI in boxing, so they’re changing that completely. …The date seems a little different, but it may not be that far away.
Perry has not competed since his boxing defeat to Jake Paul in July and has not fought for BKFC after stopping Thiago Alves in just 60 seconds at Knuckle Mania 4.
However, Danis was scheduled for Box KSI at Misfits Boxing 21 last weekend, but KSI was forced to withdraw due to illness. This postponed the entire boxing event. Danis is scheduled to face Tony Ferguson under the GFL banner on May 29th in Los Angeles, the promotion officially announced Monday.
“Maybe he doesn’t want to put that fight in danger, it depends on whether the BKFC wants to put something in danger,” Perry said. “Danis is about to grab my leg. I’ll kick a soccer player in the face. …It’ll be April.
“I’ll stop them, he needs to pull the guard.
