The famous figure in Miao Ding, a Chinese MMA scene, was set to compete for the championship when the incident occurred. According to her own account shared on social media, the cancellation was not a decision by the event organizers, but a result of pressure from senior officials. “Many friends care about me. I want to explain why the fight was cancelled. After the measurement, the organizers receive the complaints, they have to forcefully cancel my fight because I was wearing a bikini and I was considered vulgar!” Din explained.
She further detailed that wearing a bikini for measuring has been her standard practice since the start of her career. “I’ve been wearing a bikini for measuring ever since my first competition. At the time, I wasn’t famous and no one paid attention to me. But many fans are following me and looking forward to seeing my competition.
After a brawl broke out between Din and her enemies during the measurement, the controversy escalated, adding tension to the already charged atmosphere. Despite support from event organizers, Dinn said the final decision was from the Sports Bureau. “The old Kodogar from the Sports Bureau said I was vulgar,” she said. “The organized events really like me, but it was a great department that was forced to cancel my competition.”
“I’m very sorry that the competition was cancelled and disappointed everyone. But I still insist on being myself. In such a big world, I think there’s always a place where I can accommodate me,” explained Miao Ding.
