Ignacio Bajamondes was a matter of the lightweight division, and he proved it by sending Jalin Turner to retirement.

Candidate: Carlos Vera def. Josiah Musasa at UFC Fight Night

Josias Musasa was the biggest bet favorite with the cards that enter his Octagon debut, but Carlos Vera had other plans.

The Bantamweight match opened with both men trying to score a terrible, impressive exchange and highlight. It was Bella (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) who delivered it as he cracked MMA (8-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with a nasty right head kick he hurt. From there he slammed the naked choke in the back and forced all the taps within the opening round.

Candidate: Blendson Ribeiro def. Diyar Nurgozay at UFC Fight Night

Blendson Ribeiro showed his effective grappling as he was about to film Dial Nurugozey’s undefeated record in a light heavyweight match.

Ribeiro (17-7 MMA, 2-2 UFC) grabbed the arm of Diyar Nurgozhay (10-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and pounded the faucet at Kimura in the second round.

Candidate: Shauna Bannon def. Pujatmar from UFC Fight Night 255

Shauna Bannon was in deep trouble before coming together to score his first UFC finish with Puja Tomar.

Shortly after being dropped by a clean left high kick, Bannon (7-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) was able to lift his armbar from his back and submit Pujatmar (9-5 MMA, 1-1 UFC) in the second round of strawweight match.

Sean Brady became the first man to finish Leon Edwards and did it in the homeland of a former UFC champion.

Brady (18-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) ruled Edwards (22-5 MMA, 14-4 UFC) on his way to submit a round 4 guillotine choke at the 1:39 mark in Round 4. The welterweight match was the main event of UFC Fight Night 255 at O2 in London.

Brady came out swinging in round one when he put pressure on Edwards. The pair had a few short finals, but Edwards was free to break. Brady landed a great combination as he continued to sneak Edwards through the stems. Brady landed a body kick but was counterattacked on Edwards’ right. Brady concluded again, but this time he was able to push Edwards into the cage. With 20 seconds left in the round, Brady filmed a lovely trip.

As soon as Round 2 began, Brady shot a double leg to the right to secure a takedown. He was able to take Edwards’ back and hold him on the ground throughout the frame by continuing transitioning from top control to his back.

In round three, Brady tried to rush Edwards again, but met a lovely uppercut and elbow. Edwards packed Brady’s first takedown attempt, but was caught up in the mat shortly after he attempted his own takedown and turned around. Brady continued to control the ground, causing him to land hard ground and pounds. Brady ended the round with back control.

Less than a minute left to round four, Brady managed to back up Edwards on a strike and take him down. He was trapped in a single arm guillotine from above and forced Edwards to tap.
