Mohamed Salah misses a huge chance for Liverpool

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah somehow missed a great chance from close range against Manchester United this afternoon when the score was still 1-0.

The Egyptian international is a world-class performer, but his start to the season hasn’t exactly been the best and he squandered a huge chance to make it 1-1 in a crucial game at Anfield today.

Watch the ball fall to Salah below. Normally, he was in a position where he could easily aim for the back of the goal, but this time he couldn’t even reach the goal…

Salah’s reaction shows just how big an opportunity this was for him, and I’m sure some Liverpool fans can’t believe what they’re witnessing.

Liverpool missed one chance after another against Manchester United

Things could still change, but LFC are still struggling today and fans will be worried that they won’t be able to beat a weak Manchester United team after other recent poor results.

The reigning champions have recently lost to Crystal Palace, Galatasaray and Chelsea, and if this too ends in defeat, they will only have their own poor finishing to blame.

Salah definitely should have decided this match and Alexander Isak also missed a golden chance at the end of the first half.

Remarkably, Kodi Gakpo also hit the post three times in today’s match, so it wasn’t a good day for Liverpool.

But when you look at their long list of world-class players, it’s incredible that finishing has become such an issue for the Reds.
