The Minnesota Timberwolves lost some momentum after entering the Red Hot in March.
After attempting to crack the sixth seed, the Minnesota Timberwolves are currently ranked eighth with a 41-32 record.
Their latest losses came against the Indiana Pacers. The Indiana Pacers are one of the NBA form teams with five consecutive wins.
Against the Pacers, the Timberwolves struggled to lose 103-119, and had a stretch that included the dominant Indiana third quarter, losing 103-119 and scoring 41 points.
Naz Reed was one of the Minnesota Timberwolves players who could lift their heads. He scored 20 points and led the team in offensive.
The lead was followed by Anthony Edwards at age 16, with Julius Randle, Jaden McDaniels and Donte Divinsenzo all failing to get double numbers.
The sixth Man of the Year spoke in the locker room after the match, and the team was asked what was missing. And, worryingly, he answered to point out that the team was not strong and physically out of nowhere.
He replied: “The tenacity, the aggression, the team is hitting us first. We’re punching a bit, but we’re not giving any resistance. That’s those two things and we’re clearly finished playing within the rebound.”
Asked whether the team’s inactive offense had an impact on the defense, Reid noted that strong defense should come regardless of whether they were connected between the two sides.
“I think we should play more defensively if our identity is defensive, and we had to do better with that purpose.
“We managed to get a stop. That’s a way to win the game regardless of how the game goes. Anyone who has a score-score stopped both ways will win the game.”
Naz Reid knows there is currently little room for error in the tough race between the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors.
Reed says T-wolves have to bolster their game. He said:
“We were perfectly modest, but we played the basketball brand and just became us, but in an emergency.”
The Minnesota Timberwolves will then face the Phoenix Suns, Detroit Piston and the Denver Nuggets before a quick game against the Brooklyn Net.
