Newcastle United are considering improving its attack force this summer and are linked with Anthony Elanga.
However, Nottingham Forest is asking players for a substantial amount and Newcastle has identified Magnes Acryuce as Plan B.
Hau wants Anthony Elanga
According to an INEWS report, Newcastle manager Eddie Howe prefers to sign Elanga with League One Ace, as he wants a player that the Premier League has demonstrated.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. There is no doubt that Elanga will be a quality addition to Newcastle. He was able to complete the attacking unit with Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isaac.
Newcastle has secured its Champions League qualification and needs more cutting edge in the final third. They will play against world-class teams next season and need better quality players.
The opportunity to join them could also be extremely exciting for Nottingham forest attackers. However, Newcastle will need to secure an agreement with his club. They could ask him for a premium. It remains to be seen whether Newcastle is ready to overpay for the attacker.
They have a £45 million offer that was rejected for the players.
Akliouche is the top talent
Akliouche is also a talented young player, and he has a bright future. He is very good in France and has the technical attributes to succeed in the Premier League as well. He could be a cheaper alternative to Elanga. It will be interesting to see if the Newcastle manager would be happy to change his stance and willing to look into other options if Elanga’s deal doesn’t come true.
Newcastle will have to put a gap between teams if they want to do well in the league and Europe next year. They have a talented team, but they need more depth on the side.
