Liverpool is active in the summer windowThe Reds will have a hard time signing Alexander Isaac

Liverpool’s ambitious summer rebuild continues to gain momentum, suggesting that the Reds are now eager to pursue a massive hit move from Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac.

Even after chasing deals from other well-known targets like Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez, The Reds is about to sign a new striker.

Under head coach Arne Slot, Liverpool has been undergoing major team overhauls, as they are trying to guide them through a new era of success.

So far, Merseyside Club has been decisive in the transfer market. Highly rated German playmaker Florian Wiltz is set to arrive from Bayer Lebarkusen, while Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez is expected to strengthen his defensive rank after being impressed at Bournemouth.

Already complete the signature of Jeremy Fripon from Bayer Leverkusen, Slot shifted his focus to other transfer targets, replacing Trent Alexander Arnold.

Reports say Liverpool’s summer business may not be underway yet, and a search for world-class strikers is still underway.

According to TBR Football, Liverpool has already invested in the window, but continues to attract strong interest in Newcastle United’s Alexander Isaac.

Swedish international is considered an ideal centrality to raise the Reds’ forefront and could replace current options Darwin Nunes and Diogo Jota.

Journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR Football:

“Liverpool still wants a striker. We previously revealed that Liverpool is taking part in a ‘giant summer’.

“They sign Frimon and hope to follow it soon with Kerkes and Wurtz on their UK record deal, but they aren’t finished.

“They want another central defender, but the striker remains a priority, especially when Nunez moves as expected and I’m told he’s talking to different clubs.

“Jota is one of those who don’t stop him from leaving, and those exits will help pave the way for a new frontman.

“Isaac is still something they love, he is a dream signer, striker, and his contract consultations are being monitored at Anfield.”

Newcastle offers Champions League football without pressure to sell, but Liverpool reportedly “dreams” to bring the 25-year-old attacker to the club.

Such a move will require large-scale financial spending, particularly given Liverpool’s existing commitments in this window.

But if the Reds can generate funds through player sales and navigate financial regulations, a marquee striker like Isak could be the last of a summer of serious ambitions.
