The Los Angeles won a thrilling 18-inning game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night, clinching a spot in Game 3 of the 2025 World Series.
Right-handed pitcher Will Klein was the hero, pitching four shutout innings from innings 15 to 18 to keep Los Angeles in the game. Then, in the bottom of the 18th inning, Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off home run, giving LA a 6-5 victory.
Shohei Ohtani is scheduled to pitch for the in Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday night. Ohtani made nine at-bats Monday night and reached base in all nine at-bats, an MLB postseason record.
