The Los Angeles have returned Michael Kopeck to the list injured by inflammation in his right knee, the team announced.
According to Athletic Fabian Aldadaya, Kopech downplayed the issue after the scan first showed inflammation. Plus, right-handed Will Klein is back on the team.

Kopech began the season on an injured list due to a right shoulder collision in mid-March. After being moved to 60 days of IL to start the May month, the right-hander made his 2025 debut earlier this month.
In his eighth appearances, Kopech had not yet allowed runs against 29 batters.
After being bought by the at trade deadline last season, Kopek emerged as one of baseball’s most productive bailouts. Since being moved from the Chicago White Sox, Kopech has pitched a microscopic 1.13 ERA in 24 innings.
In the postseason, Kopech only allowed three runs in 10 appearances to help the lift the eighth World Series trophy in franchise history.
The sick pitching roster has a land with another name on the injured list, but Kopech’s consistency is definitely missed. LA has the eighth highest era in MLB this season, so far it has a 4.22 mark.
The happen to play Kopek’s former employer for the White Sox as the set of three games kicks off Tuesday evening.
Klein, which was estimated to be a Kopech alternative, was purchased by the by the Seattle Mariners on June 2nd after being designated as an allocation on May 31st.
He currently has 3.2 innings work in the uniform, throwing five strikeouts, allowing one walk, and no hits or run he has won.
The hope is that Kopech can return to full health as the most important stretch of the season is looming after the All-Star break.
