The Los Angeles placed one base hand Freddie Freeman on the injured list due to the same ankle injury that he was injured at the end of last season and had offseason surgery this winter.
More news: The pitcher is a self-taught barber – and then cut Tony Gonzolin’s hair.
Freeman is eligible to return April 10 from his 10-day injury list. The did not announce who would be called in light of Freeman’s position.
The tweaked the ankle in the first base hand as Freeman revealed he had a “disaster” in the shower (it wasn’t 100%). He didn’t play any of his three games against the Atlanta Braves this week.
Freeman commented on the unusual accident and said he felt much better on Tuesday.
“It was like midway through my (Sunday) morning coffee, ‘Oh, I’m just going to prepare for the day to shower,'” Freeman said. “And the next thing you know, I’m in the bathtub. It’s a great spiritual picture. If you want to think about it, the big guy falls here and there.
“But it was just one of them. You’re always in the bathtub shower, and when you’re healthy, you catch yourself.
Freeman missed five games in total to start the 2025 season, but the remain undefeated ahead of the series against the Philadelphia Phillies.
More news: The have made a lot of insane history after an unlikely undefeated start to the 2025 season.
