Mikel Arteta spent a lot of money on his summer transfer window to invest in particularly offensive positions.
The Spaniards took Victor Gyoker, Ebebeki Eze and Noni Madueke to the club, improving depth and quality with their attacking positions.
The Gyokeres have launched all games on the Premier League side this season and are expected to remain the club’s first choice attacker for a long time.
Behind him is Kai Herberts. He is currently injured, but when he ends up playing ahead of time, it’s clear he is second in the pecking order.
Arsenal selling Gabriel Jesus in January?
It leaves Gabriel Jesus to drive away the order of the hierarchy. So football insider Mick Brown feels the gunner is ready to accept his offer during the January transfer period.
“I thought Jesus had left over the summer.” He told the soccer insider.
“Obviously, the injury he has not recovered has been clearly determined that the club would better wait until he comes back before he makes a move.
“He did a good job when he was with the Arsenal team, but it feels like he couldn’t consistently identify the location of the first XI.
“It would be hard for Jesus to return to the team when he saw Gyoker hit the ground running at some goals.
“He’s not an outside striker like him, so it’s hard to see where he fits into the manager’s plan.
“Now they have a gyoker there so they’re coming back as well, but I don’t feel like there’s a place for him.
“Arteta doesn’t see him as part of his plan, so he wants to play regular football, so they’ll want to accept the offer in January.
“I think he’ll make that move in January if he hears they’re ready to let him go and the right offer comes for him.”
Jesus is currently suffering long-term injuries
The gunner may have sold Jesus in the summer, but the striker was injured, reducing the chances of sealing off travel from the club.
Jesus is currently recovering from a long-term ACL injury and is expected to complete his recovery by the beginning of next year.
As far as Number nine positions go, gunners have gyoker and Havertz, as well as Trossard who can also play in that position.
The former Manchester City star is coming to the end of time at Arsenal and next year’s transfer window.
