It’s no secret that the in Los Angeles need help.
Due to injuries to some spots and shortages of production, the team is somewhat lacking considering the massive expectations placed on them in the offseason.

From a position player perspective, the two who struggled the most this year are Max Mancy and Michael Comfort.
Muncie only hit .211 with four homers and looked extremely unstable on defense at 3 base.
Comporto was even worse with the plate, hitting .172 with three homers.
The have signed a one-year contract worth $17 million for the veteran outfielder. The team is giving him a long runway to find his swing, taking into account his contract and his track record. At the same time, what if it doesn’t come? LA can’t wait for Conforto if his play continues to be so poor.
There is a real rationale behind the player’s trading that allows Dalton to switch between 3 base and left field with him playing behind foreseeable future Will Smith. The player currently wearing the bill with that ability is track and field outfielder/infielder Miguel Anduger.
The 30-year-old Andujar first came up with the New York Yankees in 2017. 2018 saw the best year of professionals. There, Andujar hit a .297 while driving with 27 home runs, 47 doubles and 92 runs. Due to injuries and contradictions, he never approached reaching those numbers again. He became a Pittsburgh pirate and eventually ended in 2023 with athletics.
Andujar will become a free agent in the upcoming offseason. He’s only made $3 million this year. His play so far in 2025 was spectacular to the point that he could be named the AL All-Star.
Entering Friday, Anduja hits .310 with a .757 OPS. He is above the 90th percentile in strikeout and control rates, and ranks arm strength in the 95th percentile.
In other words, he’ll be an upgrade around comfort (and possibly Muncie) in almost every category. Andujar’s ability to play the ball is a skill that every team seeks postseason time.
Given his sudden explosion, track and field may be asking for quite a penny in return. At the same time, he has an expired contract, which in theory would limit what the team can reclaim in possible deals.
Without a doubt, Andujar will check all the boxes of players that can help the win now and October.
