Sean O’Malley brings in all sorts of people to help prepare for a rematch with Merab Dvalishvili.
Over the past few years, the number of influencers and fans has increased, and I jumped at the opportunity to be beaten by a high-level professional MMA fighter. Last week, Sean Strickland slammed YouTubers – what he made a habit – and now “Suga” Sean O’Malley has also joined the game.
Over the weekend, O’Malley released a video on his YouTube channel, showing that he’s sparring YouTube Frankie C with a professional poker player.
In the video, O’Malley points out that he first confronted Frankie C on Heads Up Poker Match. But obviously, poker and pro battles aren’t the same, and Frankie C appears to have made the worst deal. Because O’Malley attacked him around the cage and eventually dropped Franky C in repeated shots into his body.
Frankie C’s credits have no illusions about their ability to compete with O’Malley in battle, saying they knew O’Malley was very scary, but didn’t believe anything lasting would happen. O’Malley seemed to want to impress Frankie C without actually hurting him.
“I want him to feel like he’s been attacked by a truck,” O’Malley said. “I want to hurt him inside me. I want to kick him in the legs a few times. A hard couple’s leg kick. I’m trying to really, really tire him out.”
O’Malley will challenge Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title at the main event of UFC 316, which will be held at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on June 7th.
