Arsenal is expected to sign Martins Vimendi from Real Sociedad at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Spanish international midfielder has linked his move to the Premier League in recent months, with Arsenal apparently winning the race for his signature. According to journalist Oscar Badaro, clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid are mentioned as potential destinations, but Arsenal has finished the move.

Badaro revealed to Radio Marca: “Zvimendi is on his way to Arsenal. There’s no need to live any more. Last year, Barcelona was the name of the Real Madrid game this year.”

Zubimendi has established himself as one of the best central thrillers at La Liga and needs to prove that he is an excellent acquisition of Arsenal. The London Club needed someone who could deep control the tempo of the game and could also support defensively. He could prove to be a major upgrade to Jorginho and Thomas Partey next season.

The 57,692 euro per week midfielder was on Liverpool’s radar last season, but he refused. Arsenal appears to have persuaded him to join the club.

Zubimendi is a club and the nation star, and Arsenal will do well to secure his services. He transformed them in the middle and was able to help them win the major trophies. He was able to form a solid partnership with Declan Rice.

The players have the physicality and technical attributes to get along well in the Premier League. It will be interesting to see if he can hit the position he is running in British football. He is excited to make his mark in the UK and help Arsenal win the major trophy.

They are approaching winning league titles in the last two seasons, and some quality auditions in the summer can help them get past the line in the end.
