It has been difficult to find something positive for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
In all competitions, the North Londoners lost 22 games, but only once more than they won. If they don’t reach the Europa League final next month, they could go down as the worst campaign in a generation or two generations.
But in reality, there is a reason why the Lily White people are faithfully optimistic. Because they already have a collection of seriously inspiring young people on the senior side and the academy.
In fact, one young man appears to be able to eat the real world, even in his answer to Tottenham’s Ramin Yamal.
Spurs’ most exciting young man
Before you reach the lead in question, let’s take a look at some of the other sensational talents the Spurs have in the book.
In the pipeline
Pipeline Series Football Fancust aims to reveal the best young players in World Football.
In addition to being labelled “monster” for his defensive efforts by respected analyst Ben Matinson, he is also one of the most exciting centre-backs at the moment, as he is also a serious target threat.
For example, in just 32 appearances, he had already scored seven goals and provided two assists.
Much closer to home, but an exciting talent is Tyrees Hall.
The 19-year-old prospect has enjoyed a great season at the academy this year, accumulating six goals and five assists tally in just 28 appearances.
That is to say, the teen phenomenon that Jermain Defoe claims to have “Luka Modric Vibe” means that he currently averages goal involvement every 2.54 games.
But there is another exciting young man, someone who could be the club’s answer to Yamal.
Spurs’ answer to Yamal
So, while some of you may be thinking of the incredibly promising Mikey Moore, the academy gem in question is actually a year younger, so you’re probably wrong.
Despite being only 16 years old, Luca Williams Burnett has been causing considerable upset this season.
For example, in just 18 appearances, a total of 1,465 minutes, the Luton-born genius scored a whopping 19 goals and provided nine assists.

This means that he currently maintains an otherworldly average of 1.55 goal involvement per game. That is, we produce one every 52.32 minutes.
This mere sensational rate of return, coupled with the hype that Matinson saw him describe him as “one of the UK’s finest talents,” makes comparisons with Yamal seem so easy.
After all, the young Spaniard won Barcelona’s first start at the age of 16. If Lily White’s new superstar continues to hold his current numbers, there’s no reason he couldn’t get his first start next season at just 16 years old.
Finally, in addition to being a pure output machine, the teenagers played in several positions in addition to their natural offensive midfield roles, including left midfield, left and right wing, and even top.
Ultimately, very early in his long career, Williams Balnett appears to have everything he needs to become a real superstar in the future. Who knows, maybe he’ll be told the Yamal is now in a few years.
