The walls are trapped in Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham Hotspur.
The Australian began his tenure in North London last season with a 10-game sensational run, but things have since gotten worse and worse.
As things stood, the North Londoners were 14th in the Premier League, with more defeats than they could win their names, and the teams lost over the weekend were almost full power while the injured were playing their roles.
This season, such poor returns are no surprise to many top managers advertised to replace Australians in the summer, such as Andoni Iraora of Bournemouth, but recent reports are now throwing a different name into the ring.

A recent report from The Telegraph found that Daniel Levy and Co identified Iraloa and Fulham boss Marco Silva as “the main candidate” to replace Postecoglou if they plundered him in the summer.

The report reiterates that North London’s latest defeat – a significant pressure on Australia following the 15th place defeat in the Premier League this season.
Interestingly, Bournemouth is expected to fight teeth and claws to protect his manager at least for another season, but “question is rising about Silva’s future at Fulham.”
Additionally, he will be signing with the cottage until the end of next season, but reportedly has a £6 million release clause creating a completely plausible scenario for the Spurs.
Why should Spurs hire Silva?
Therefore, the argument to dismiss Postecoglou is very simple. He has lost 19 of his 46 games this season, averaging 1.50 points in all competitions and only 1.50 points.
But whether Silva or Iraaura would choose to replace him in the summer, why should Levi and co-workers go with the former?
Well, the first reason is the simple fact that, as mentioned above, he appears to be much more gettable than the Spaniards, which could lead to a better start from Angi.

The second reason is that despite all the attention the Bournemouth boss has received this season, Lisboa-born Gaffer actually has a better campaign.
For example, in all competitions this season, the former Rayo Vallecano boss won in 15 matches, losing 10 points in eight games, averaging 1.61 points per game.
Finally, both managers are very exciting and do very well with each aspect at the moment, but the “special” Silva, dubbed by journalist Jack Kelly, has experience working in British football and managed Hull City, Watford and Everton before getting a job in West London.
Therefore, there is essentially a small risk when hiring him. This definitely appeals to the power that exists in the N17 after such a season.
Ultimately, post-coglow time on Tottenham’s hot seat probably appears to be over in the summer. If Levi and CO want to give the team the best chance to move forward next season, they should consider bringing in the guy who made Fulham a scary suggestion.
