Stephen Curry chooses Jimmy Butler and plays an important role with him in the Golden State Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors, who are trading for Jimmy Butler, helped the team go round the regular season as they went 23-8 after the move.
Thanks to Butler’s arrival, Dub was able to earn the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference. But even with Butler on the roster, the Warriors failed to make a deep postseason run.
The Warriors experienced a 4-1 second round loss at the hands of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the presence of Stephen Curry as the 4X NBA champions missed time due to a hamstring injury.
Certainly, many Warriors fans have debated what would have happened if curry were healthy, but the reality remains that the team is out of the playoffs.
Now, the long offseason is in front of them, and curry was recently seen at Celebrity Proam in the 2025 Memorial Tournament.
During the event, Curry was asked to choose someone from NBA history and take the final shot in the game to win.
“Jimmy Butler now,” Steph said.
It didn’t take long for Curry to take Butler’s name, but the Warriors superstar appears to have been irritated by the reporters ambushing him during the event.
After all, Warriors fans are happy to hear Steph take the name Butler. But it certainly raised some eyebrows about Steph, who doesn’t take Kevin Durant’s name. After all, he won two NBA championships with him.
Anyway, coming back to the Curry Butler duo, I’m sure many people are wondering whether they’ll plan next season one day in the early exit.
Now, Jimmy answered this question by saying, “I probably don’t know on the plane.”
Either way, the Warriors have a tougher offseason than they do, as the star’s core is not younger next season.
