Eddie Hall knows his role in the fight game.
The once-in-a-world strongest man made waves last month with his martial arts debut, scoring a 30-second knockout against Marius Puzianovsky at Poland’s KSW 105.
Hall’s name has since been in the headlines, many of which have linked him to a potential clash with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannow. Initially, Hall dismissed the idea of fighting the ngannou, but he has since come and suggested that he would sign at the dotted line, for a reasonable price and ample preparation time.
But when it comes to his MMA career, Hall is holding back his expectations. He doesn’t aim to raise the rankings. He just wants to cash out checks and entertain the crowds in any freak show battles that people would like to see next.
“I’m not saying I want to be a ranked fighter,” Hall said he believes in your podcast with Michael Bispin. “I think what I belong to is the Freak Battle. Do you know? I and Marius Puzianovsky were working because they were the strongest people in the world and the strongest people in the world.
Former UFC fighter Sam Albey calls for Eddie Hall
Of course, the only battle for Hall is not Nganou.
Following Tyrone Spong’s shocking knockout at Karate Combat 54, former UFC fighter Sam Alvey called out the former Strongman for potential scraps in the pit.
Alvey doubled in appearance on the Ariel Helwani show.
“I’m going to kick your a** with respect, so I’ll sign the contract!” Albey said.
“Karate Combat loves this idea. I know they’re very happy to make it happen. I think they’re trying to make it happen. We reach out to him and do everything we can.
