Arsenal players celebrate after celebrating Sky Sports Studios’ Roy Keene (Stu Forster/Getty Images) after signing vs Man United
Manchester United legend Roy Keene is looking to sly excavate at Arsenal, even after a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Gunners have won the new campaign, achieving Riccardo Calafiori’s early goals and proven enough to score all three points for visitors.
However, Keene was not so impressed. With the fact that Arsenal didn’t push the second goal, they feel they’ll put them in another category of Liverpool and Manchester City.
See below as Keene assessed Arsenal’s performance against his old Club United in his criticism role for Sky Sports…
Keene discovered that when they won, they still admired Arsenal. Gunner is sure to be happy that all three points from Old Trafford all looked like a challenging opening day fixture.
Arsenal wins at Man United, but is the offense still a concern?
Arsenal fans are pleased that the team has won this tricky away game, but are there still signs of concern in the upcoming season?
The gunners didn’t look particularly impressive in the attack.
It’s a difficult debut for new striker Viktor Gyoker, and Arsenal fans will certainly hope to get better from him as the season progresses.
Meanwhile, we didn’t see enough from Bucayo Saka or Gabriel Martinelli. And Summer Signature Noni Madueke is nothing like he does more than add depth.
Keene may be overly critical of Arsenal here, but some Gooners are undoubtedly worried that their team didn’t seem to get two seconds to kill the game this afternoon.
United are unlucky to not score, and better teams will certainly punish the AFC unless they improve.
