The Los Angeles revealed plans to support immigrants in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon, the team issued a statement.
“In our partnership with the City of Los Angeles, the have committed $1 million to direct financial support for immigrant families affected by recent events in the area.
The had planned a announcement on Thursday, but decided to delay their response after an ice agent was found at Stadium on Thursday morning.

The team is now officially pledging $1 million, with more announcements coming soon.

“In a partnership with the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles have committed $1 million to direct financial support for immigrant families affected by recent events in the area.
“The and the City of Los Angeles have the ability to gain financial resources for those who have been seen these days in their efforts to support victims of the January wildfires. By supporting the city’s efforts, the encourage those organizations to be in a similar position to directly support families and workers struggling with financial hardships.
“In the coming days, the will make additional announcements with local communities and labor organizations, including the California Community Foundation, the Los Angeles County Labor Federation, and more.
