The Los Angeles have already lost two starters with Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow. Injury issues seem to have been defended since last season, especially as the pitching staff are affected by the latest disease epidemic.

With Glasnow and Snell Out, the ‘ plans to move forward with a six-man rotation is not realistic. Tony Gonsorin has returned to the rotation, but now there are only four starters at Dustin May, Sasaki, Yamamoto Yoshinobu and now Gonsorin.
Injuries in the starting spin indicate that changes may soon be coming. Manager Dave Roberts said one path the team explores is for Yamamoto and Sasaki to pitch more frequently. According to Roberts, the have nothing to “conversation” about ideas, but the will have “conversations.”
Currently, both Yamamoto and Sasaki are on the pitch once a week, and their schedules worked well in the season’s opening game. However, once Glasnow moves on to IL, the will have to establish a new schedule of rotation.
The bullpen leads the league in the innings. This is a major concern for the team that entered the final postseason with an overworked bullpen and three starters. To ease the bullpen, the can use Yamamoto and Sasaki’s pitches more frequently, but at what cost?
Both pitchers are most pleased with their current schedule. That’s what I did overseas. It will be interesting to see if increasing the start will have a negative or positive effect on the duo, but the seem to be at least exploring ideas.
