star Shohei ohtani is more than ever before to make his debut on the mound in LA.
Otani reportedly threw a bullpen session before the match last week compared to the Pittsburgh Pirates. With each manager, Dave Roberts, Otani threw 31 pitches. His current repertoire focuses on four- and two-seam fastballs and splitters. The rest of the pitch Otani can throw is reportedly incorporated when he faces the batter.

There may be a rough estimate as to when he will pitch at Stadium, but that is currently not entirely known.
Sonya Chen from MLB.com was able to source some quotes from general manager Brandon Gomes. A media-savvy man, Gomez was intentionally less specific about the timeline regarding Ohatani’s final return to the mound.
“It’s going to be a weekly (process),” general manager Brandon Gomez said on Saturday. “We have a general sense. We need to make sure he feels good and is smart. We can’t lose the offensive side either. … With many of these rehabilitations, you kind of set a date and work backwards.
Otani’s rehabilitation process seems a little more complicated than the average pitcher. One is that in addition to what the New York Mets gave to Juan Soto this past offseason, they also invested more money in him than any other player in league history.
The idea of starting rehabilitation for Otani in minor leagues is not an option. If the do that, they’ll take him out of the lineup. So many of Odtani’s builds will face batters in games simulated before and before the game.
As of May 2nd, the have the highest record in baseball. This doesn’t have a completely healthy roster. As long as the team continues to win with this clip, Los Angeles can be particularly cautious about reintegrating Ohatani into the mix until they’re fully prepared.
