If there is a significant investment, something good happens to virtually any sports franchise.
On Sunday on the team’s official X account it was announced that the Los Angeles had broken the 4 million mark, the first time in franchise history. This historic number occurred in response to Sunday being the final regular season home game of the year.
On average, nearly 50,000 fans participated in each game. There are absolutely monstrous figures, considering Stadium with 56,000 players (the biggest stadium in the major leagues). Phoenix’s Chasefield is the second largest in terms of its registered capacity of 48,330.
This means, on average, the are participating in each game more than the absolute maximum amount of other stadiums in the sport.

Another set of statistics to consider includes context. This year’s team was ranked 10th in the league’s history and achieved that mark, first in nearly 20 years. The entire franchise has attended the league for 12 of the past 13 seasons.
This is the undiminished love that the city of Los Angeles has for its baseball team and its commitment to victory through ownership.
The stadium has been undergoing heavy facelifts over the past few years to improve the consumer experience. The stadium still has a retro feel, but is equipped with a modern touch. From food choices to non-basin activities that children can take part in on-site, it’s a much more family-friendly venue.
As for the ownership group, there was a full commitment to victory. Perhaps the biggest example was having a $700 million contract with Shohei Ohtani (among the moves to improve the roster).
Ownership groups continue to promote a culture of success at the highest level, and it doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. Considering the number of people coming to support this ball club, the satisfaction level appears to be incredibly high.
