Arsenal has been tipped for a significant sale this summer, suggesting that this is one of the key reasons Andrea Berta was brought in.
Gunners need to be busy making new signatures after an annoying season.
Still, the independent suggests that, although no particular name is mentioned, it can attract attention from Emirates Stadium.
Whether this will go anywhere, or whether it may be considered, is different from if it is not yet in.
If there’s a big sale at Arsenal, we chose six names that are worth watching.
Who can leave Arsenal at the transfer window this summer?
In no particular order, there is a list of Arsenal’s six first-team players.
1) Gabriel Martinelli – He’s not at his best for a while, but many clubs are still young enough to see the possibilities, and this certainly will have to be considered by Arsenal.
2) Gabriel Jesus – Although his day was a great player, Gabriel Jesus is too easily injured and it’s certainly easy to think about cashing out cash if someone shows interest.
3) Oleksandr Zinchenko- It is no longer a regular starter for the gunner. It’s not so surprising that Oleksandr Zinchenko is looking for movement and Arsenal is happy to give him a green light.
4) Leandro Trossard- Like Martinelli, there seems to be more competition at Arsenal next season, so hopefully Leandro Trossard will be the subject of some speculation. This could also be Arsenal’s last chance to make serious money from his sales for his age.
5) David Raya- This is a very surprising thing, but at the same time, he has a strong connection with football transfers and, according to others, Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia, who certainly doesn’t take part just to sit on the bench. Most Arsenal fans don’t want to see David Raya leave, but this certainly has to be something the AFC considers, if Garcia’s link is accurate.
6) Martin Odegaard- Certainly not, but at the same time, should it really be ruled out? Martin Odegaard looks like a shadow of his former self at this point, so perhaps Arsenal will take on something that could become a very important sale that could make the dangerous calculation that he is at peak and allow for a big signature elsewhere on the team.
Arsenal hadn’t had much luck with big sales.
Arsenal needs to be sustainable, and one area where they are behind some of their rivals is player sales.
Surprisingly, the 38 million euro received by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in 2017 remains the largest sale ever.
Arsenal doesn’t want to be a sales club, but in itself it certainly needs to make big profits from time to time with big names, which may be something to look at this summer.
