The latest report says Aston Villa is reportedly more likely to sign Marco Asensio than Marcus Rashford this summer.
Villa rented both Asensio and Rashford in January, and brought both Asensio and Rashford in January, with the former participating from Paris Saint-Germain, and the latter from Manchester United until the end of the season.
According to Give Me Sport, Villa now appears to be focusing on signing permanently as Asensio’s priorities, with Rashford likely going back to Old Trafford.
It is still unclear whether this is still the final decision from the club, but the news comes as Rashford links with other clubs such as Tottenham before the summer.

Rashford is on track for the duration of his Villa Park, and Unai Emery and Co is amazing. You may not be particularly desperate to keep him forever.
England International has been a star performer for Man UTD for many years, but the scene changes seem to have made him a good world.
But perhaps the villa has other plans and prefers to build around Asensio in the long run.
Rashford would have been pleased that he had his 27-year-old in the Provebial Shop window for at least the last few months, as he still appears to be a good option for a club like the Spurs.
Even if Villa doesn’t keep Rashford, at least United and Rashford can look back at this spell and see it’s not in vain.
