Arman Tsarukyan and Patricky Pitbull hosted an exciting grappling match at the main event of ADXC 10 in Moscow, Russia, with the UFC star giving their final laugh on Saturday.
Pitbull, a former Bellator Lightweight Champion, had a good moment in the match with a fun scramble, even attacking with a naked chalk in the rear, but overall, Tsarukyan was the dominant fighter with several choke attempts. The emperor approached tapping the Brazilian in the final seconds of round four, but took a while when the triangular choke on his arm was trapped.
When the final stanza began, Pitbull shot a takedown, but the emperor defended him and quickly took his back. Pitbull survived the tight-necked crank, but had no choice but to tap on the naked chalk after the moment.
The UFC candidate is currently 2-0 and 2-0 in the match when he won the decision with Charles Oliveira in April 2024 and made the decision to improve to 9-2 under the company’s banner.
Former Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Vadim Nemkov had a rematch with Ronny Markes in the co-main event. They first met in an MMA match in 2017, when Nenkov hit the Brazilian with a first-round guillotine, but Marks revenge with a unanimous decision victory.
Before the card, former UFC flyweight Askar Alkarov, who won the current champion Alexander Pantoja, defeated Rogerio Bontlin by unanimous decision after a five-round grappling.
