The Los Angeles have closed off from throwing two CY Young Award winner Blakesnell after suffering obvious set-offs in their rehabilitation program.

Snell has not appeared in the game since the beginning of April and has since hit the list injured by shoulder inflammation.

Manager Dave Roberts reported that Snell “didn’t feel good” after Southpaw played catch on Tuesday, according to athletics Fabian Aldaya. When the team returns to Los Angeles on Thursday or Friday, Snell could receive additional imaging on his shoulder.

More recently, Roberts has provided us with the latest updates on Southpaws. The skipper hinted at Snell returning to abandoning the mound, and was imminent this week.

With this recent set-off on his journey to recovery, there is no longer a timeline where fans can hope for him to come back and be healthy.

Snell got off to a productive start to the chapter of his professional baseball career, but by his standards it was still somewhat unfamiliar. With two starts, Snell had an ERA 2.00 and a 1-0 record, but allowed 10 hits and seven runs (only two gains (in nine innings in total).

Snell generated four strikeouts in eight walks in the uniform.

The All-Star is well known for being a late pitcher as Snell proved how well he performs when the lights brighten. Over his career, he has won a 3.95 ERA in the first half of the season, comparing it to a 2.32 mark in the second half of each season.

His win rate jumps from .426 before the All-Star break and then .721 percent.

The want to be particularly cautious with him in April, as they know the importance of Snell being healthy later this year.
