Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Benfica midfielder Oakn Cock at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Turkish International has been doing very well in the Portuguese outfit this season, with 11 goals and eight assists in his name.
According to a report in Portuguese Publication Records, Liverpool is pursuing players, and Arne Slot is particularly keen to reunite with the midfielder. Slot has worked with players together on Feyenord. Kokcu was an important player for him at the time.
Liverpool can use goalscoring midfielders like him and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to pay the premium. The midfielder will have a 150 million euro release clause in the deal, making him unlikely to become a cheap takeover.

The opportunity to move into the Premier League is extremely exciting for the player and will be a huge challenge for him too. Kokcu has a high praise on Liverpool’s manager, and he has previously claimed that Slots is the best coach in the world.
Kokcu said of the slot: “He made me the player I am today. He is the best coach in the world.”
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can negotiate a reasonable deal for the midfielder in the coming months. They are unlikely to pay him 150 million euros, and the clubs trying to sign him want a reasonable deal.
