Reports emerging from Portugal suggest that FC Porto is closely tracking Arsenal’s centre-back Jakubukiwior due to growing uncertainty around Polish International’s role at Emirates Stadium.
Kiwior, who joined Arsenal with high expectations, enjoyed a strong run on the back end last season, stepped into the injured Gabriel Magalhães and launched equipment for the last 12 Premier League of the campaign.
His consistent performance during that stretch showed that he could be a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s defensive rotation.
Jakub Kiwior fell in order of pecking at Arsenal
However, the arrival of Spanish defender Christian Mosquera appears to have pushed the 25-year-old into the hierarchy this summer.
This situation became clear recently when Kiwiall couldn’t even create a match-day team due to Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claims that Kiwior has become unstable and is now open to departures, especially when opportunities for regular play are limited.
FC Porto is said to be monitoring the development and could offer a new start to the former Spezia man. The Portuguese giant sees Kiwiol as a potential strengthening that can strengthen its defensive options.

But Arsenal’s stance complicates the issue. While Arteta and The Club Hierarchy prefer to retain the depth of the entire team, Gunners is thought to be willing to listen to offers if the financial package is deemed attractive enough.
Arsenal’s rating is around 30 million euros, and Porto may have a hard time meeting.
For now, Kiwior’s situation remains in scope. If he continues to find himself in the fringe, it could put pressure on solutions that benefit all parties, whether it’s a sale or a loan move.
