Olympic silver medalist Kennedy Blade is already one of the world’s top wrestlers, but has also gained a reputation for always finding ways to use signature moves in competitions.
Almost like one of her matches during her 2024 match in Paris, the blade continues to perfect the suppression whenever she enters a position where she can lift her opponent and throw her into the mat, creating a highlight reel moment. When Blade did it at the Olympics, her opponent actually crashed violently and then had to be transported for treatment.
Thankfully, although she was not injured this time, Blade used her suppressx again during Friday’s tournament competition.
The Blades dominated for a 13-0 technical fall victory that advanced in the tournament.
The 21-year-old Phenom actually trained under Israeli Martinez, a well-known MMA world after working with many top fighters over the years, including UFC heavyweight champion John Jones and former UFC champion Holly Home.
Kennedy turned his interest in the possibility of pursuing a career in MMA in the future. Now she’s focused on lasers on winning gold medals in 2028 games when the Summer Olympics lands in Los Angeles.
